Have you ever been part of a Book Launch Team? Do you know what they are? A Book Launch Team is a team of readers, reviewers, fans and followers who put their hands up to be part of the exciting, wild and crazy adventure that is launching a new book into the world! If you are on a book launch team you get to see behind the scenes of a new release, you'll receive an advance copy of the new book and can participate in fun promotional activities in the lead up to the book's release. It can be a fun experience, especially for book lovers or those curious about the writing/publishing process. Not every new book has a Book Launch Team, but some do and they can help an author build exposure for their new release and make sure the intended readers hear about the new title. This year, I have two new books coming out and one of them - a new Pet Sitters book - is scheduled for publication in a couple of months. SO exciting! The Pet Sitters series are fun, fast paced chapter books for young readers aged 5-9. I co-write these books with Cecily Paterson and we independently publish them under the pen-name Ella Shine. The books are illustrated by the amazing Lisa Flanagan. There are five books in the series so far, with a sixth book scheduled for release in April, so that means we are seeking Launch Team members NOW. If you love children's chapter books, have a young reader in your life who would love to write a review of a new book, are keen to support independent authors (like Cecily and I), we'd love to have you join our launch team. Applications for the Pet Sitters Launch Team are open now, just click this link here to apply.
Note: Applications for launch team close 2nd March 2023.

My blogI've named my blog 'Meander, wonder, wait' because sometimes that's what a writers life feels like. Full of dreams and ideas, stories that take the long road to publication and a lots of waiting along the way. But there's another reason I felt this was a good blog title and that's because all of life (and not just the writing part) can feel rushed and harried. Us humans need regular reminders to slow down, think deeply, dream and ponder. That's what I'm hoping this blog will be about; opportunities to go slow, wander through ideas and wait well no matter where we are. Categories |
