Penny Jaye is the author of books for children and older readers, writing to find the beauty, hope, strength and love in even the toughest settings. She lives in western Sydney and enjoys juggling a busy family life with writing commitments, including doing author visits.

Penny Jaye is an award-winning author of books for children and older readers. From picture books or young adult fiction, Penny writes to explore themes that matter; like life, love, freedom, adventure and belonging. She lives in western Sydney and enjoys the challenges and opportunities of juggling a busy family life with various writing commitments, including doing author visits. Some of her favourite activities are family movie nights, lunch by the river and being tucked up in bed to read a new YA novel!
She also writes as Penny Reeve and Ella Shine.
